We’re thrilled to announce that Good Company Handyman has been selected as one of the winners of the Delaware EDGE Grant! This incredible achievement underscores our commitment to providing professional, reliable handyman services while supporting the local community here in Dover.
What is the EDGE Grant?
The Encouraging Development, Growth, and Expansion (EDGE) Grant is a competitive program organized by the Delaware Division of Small Business. It provides essential funding to promising small businesses, enabling them to grow and enhance their services. The program supports innovative entrepreneurs, offering up to $50,000 for non-STEM businesses and up to $100,000 for STEM businesses to cover eligible expenses like equipment purchases, marketing campaigns, or operational upgrades.
Only 10 businesses were chosen after presenting their ideas to an expert panel. We’re proud to be among this elite group of forward-thinking businesses selected for the Entrepreneur Class.
Our Proposal: Building for the Future
At Good Company Handyman, our mission has always been to be the trusted, one-stop resource for all home repair and maintenance needs. In our EDGE grant proposal, we highlighted the growing demand for professional handyman services in the Dover area and shared our vision to expand our capacity and enhance customer experiences. The grant funding will help us acquire a new truck and work van, which are critical to increasing efficiency and reaching more customers.
